How email sign-ups work here

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for AI Until I Die is Second Brain Consulting. You can contact them at sales@secondbrainconsulting.co.

AI Until I Die is owned by the same people who own Reachium, the tool this site recommends as its pick. Recommendations are editorial, and the ownership is disclosed wherever Reachium is recommended.

What is collected and why

When you sign up with a form on this site, Second Brain Consulting collects your email address so AI Until I Die can send you marketing and promotion emails, including a newsletter when it launches, and so we can measure how the site and its forms perform. Emails always come from AI Until I Die, never from Reachium, and this list is never emailed under Reachium's name.

Each sign-up also records which page and form the address came from, the exact wording shown when it was submitted, the time, the website that sent you here, any campaign tags in the link, your country, and a scrambled one-way code made from your IP address that is used only to stop abuse. Your IP address itself is never stored.

Who receives your data

Your sign-up is stored by seo-maxxing.vercel.app, the SEO Maxxing dashboard service that runs the sign-up forms on this site. It holds the data for Second Brain Consulting and uses it only on the instructions of Second Brain Consulting.

seo-maxxing.vercel.app keeps what it stores with Vercel and Supabase. They act for seo-maxxing.vercel.app, not for Second Brain Consulting, and use the data only on the instructions of seo-maxxing.vercel.app.

Sharing with data partners

Some forms offer a separate box to share your email address with this site's data partners. Only if you tick it is your address passed to them, so they can email you too. Our data partners include Reachium. If you leave the box unticked, your address is not shared with any data partner.

How long it is kept

Your email address is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. There is no fixed expiry date. As a backstop, the system deletes addresses 3650 days (10 years) after their most recent sign-up.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data held about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Withdraw your consent

To withdraw your consent and have your email address deleted, write to sales@secondbrainconsulting.co from the address you signed up with. Your address is deleted. A scrambled code made from it is kept so that it is not added again, and the record of the consent you gave is kept without your address.

Browser storage

The sign-up forms keep one entry named saeo_capture in the local storage of your browser. It remembers which version of a form you saw, when you closed one, and whether you signed up, so the same form does not keep appearing. It is not shared with anyone, and the forms set no cookies.
